Jason Rogers, M.A., Policy Research Associate 
Jason Rogers is a Policy Research Associate with the CanEd Project. Mr. Rogers' work has focused primarily on data analysis and data manipulation. He was responsible for creating a career matching algorithm using nonlinear regression techniques for CareerCruising.com. He has also carried out statistical analyses on the effect of Nipissing University's UNIV1011 course on student retention and on the effectiveness of a Brock University online writing skills workshop in improving test outcomes. Mr. Rogers has advanced statistical and quantitative abilities as well as strong analytical skills.
Mr. Rogers holds a Master's Degree in Economics from the University of Toronto, Canada, and a Bachelor's of Science in Physics and Economics from McGill University. He has taken Ph.D. and Honours level courses in Econometrics and has done quantitative work using a number of statistical and mathematical software packages, including SPSS, Stata, MATLAB and R.
